10 times 6 is the cult series at the ada Studios. 10 pieces are pre- sented on these nights in just one evening – when exactly 6 minutes is up, the lights go out and the current piece is over. TANZNACHT BERLIN 2012 takes up the idea and plays with it: 6 times 10 is 6 pieces of 10 minutes each. In Christine Borch, Shannon Cooney, Hana Erdman, Felix Marchand & Ayara Hernández Holz – Lupita Pulpo, Sergiu Matis and Teresa Isabella Mayer, 6 Berlin-based artists with very different choreographic handwriting have been chosen to prepare a 10 minutes piece during a short residency period. 6 times 10 presents the diversity of Berlin’s dance world in a concise 60 minutes.
