Educated as a cultural anthropologist Inge Koks started to work in the field of arts management in 1998. Her wish to work more closely with art makers and her personal interest in contemporary arts, more specifically dance and performance art, came true in her collaboration with the international contemporary dance festival Springdance, Utrecht and the dance & performance collective LISA.

She curated and directed the 2006 and 2007 edition of TanzTage Berlin in which young and upcoming Berlin based choreographers show their work to a broader, dance interested audience. The last years she has worked on a broad diversity of projects, alternating her participation from business management for André Gingras and tgSPACE, project management for dance re-construction festival cover#2, writing for Nicole Beutler and Edit Kaldor and assisting in the artistic develpment of the projects of Ivana Müller and Ibrahim Quraishi. In 2011 she co-ordinated the artist initiative We Live Here: An Academy, presented a pilot of The Recycling Project together van Annette van Zwoll at the Performance Studies International conference in Utrecht and collaborated with Berlin based choreographers Hyoung-Min Kim and Tommi Zeuggin in their project GHOST. Since August 2010 Inge Koks is also curator at Frascati Theatre, Amsterdam.
