Frédéric Gies „Seven Thirty in Tights“

30. August, 9:30 pm, Studio 14 | TICKETS
(70 Min)

Let’s imagine a futuristic social dance. A dance that could never crystallise into a shape. It would consist of the outcome of the physical dialogue between the dancers. It would be made of continuous negotiations between different individual choices made within the group. It would demand that each individual listens to the impulses of the others in the most sensitive way and evaluate the response, second by second. If one voice within the group was ignored, isolated or repressed, this would cause a tension that would jeapordize the whole process. Like the butterfly effect in chaos theory, every individual movement would have an effect on this whole dancing community. Let’s imagine that this dance was a political practice.
