Choreographer Kat V\u00e1lastur is showing an installation developed in cooperation with visual artist Leon Eixenberger from the stage set for her piece \u201cStelllar Fauna\u201d. In her kinetic installation \u201cGummimauer \/ flexible walls\u201d, the visual artist Rike Horb in turn transfers movement to the usually static material of masonry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other performances also add dynamic elements to the sculptural and installation aspects of the exhibition: Roger Sala Reyner, Guillaume Marie and Igor Dobri\u010di\u0107 have transformed the solo piece \u201cRoger\u201d into a living installation, going beyond the original choreographic format to counter suffering with comfort and a gesture of empathy and bring it into the centre of society.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Complete artwork devotee Liina Magnea and opera singer Sigr\u00fan Gy\u00f0a Sveinsd\u00f3ttir keep art alive in \u201cSehnsucht +\u201d and imagine themselves as cells in a sleeping body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These two formats, adapted and developed especially in response to the pandemic for the first part of Tanznacht, are accompanied by Hana Lee Erdman\u2019s \u201cAnimal Companion\u201d. Here, the eponymous associates escort visitors through the exhibition, shifting perspectives on conventional modes of encounter between humans and animals.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the closing event of this year\u2019s edition of Tanznacht Berlin, the curators have invited Mmakgosi Kgabi and Dasniya Baddhanasiri to round off the programme with a dialogue that is as physical as it is vocal.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Performances within the scope of Vertigo:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Info:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mouth\/nose protection is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tickets are valid for entry to the Uferstudio grounds 6 pm \u2013 10 pm via the entrance at Bad Strasse 41a, and for the opening event at 7.30 pm with the Gray Voice Ensemble in the Uferstudios courtyard.
